I loved the author’s motive behind the book. He showed us a day in the life of an untouchable and completely took us to that time. We see the various emotions that Bakha feels and sympathize with him. I also liked how the book ended on a hopeful note. This book is quite short but you need to slowly read it to completely experience it.\u00a0I have also read Coolie by Mulk Raj Anand but it was years ago and I barely remember it. I started watching the UK based show Skins and finished 4 seasons. I loved the first two seasons and the set of characters that it had. I also loved the third season and I thought that this installment would be even better than the previous seasons. But my hopes were crushed when season 4 turned out to be a disaster.
