How are you all doing?<\/p>\n<p>April was a strange month for me. Both in life and in reading, I was just trying to figure things out. I managed to read six books and I am happy to say I enjoyed most of them.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"color:#800000;\"><strong>Books I Read<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:left;\"><span style=\"color:#000080;\"><strong>1. Black Suits You by Navoneel Chakraborty<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com\/images\/I\/81sq68hekyL.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for black suits you\" width=\"206\" height=\"315\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Navoneel Chakraborty is a popular Indian author of romantic thrillers. This was my first read by him.\u00a0I didn&#8217;t enjoy the first half of the book at all, mostly because of the terrible characters but the suspense kept me going, The last 100 pages were the best part for me. There were a lot of surprises that I didn&#8217;t see coming. This book is definitely a better thriller than an erotica.<\/p>\n<p>Also, special thanks to my awesome friend Kajal from\u00a0<a title=\"A girl's verdict on books\" href=\"https:\/\/kdscribblesblog.wordpress.com\/\" rel=\"home\">A girl&#8217;s verdict on books<\/a>\u00a0for gifting me this book. Soul Of A Wanderer by Jayasekaran Pillai<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/images.gr-assets.com\/books\/1504492386l\/36177733.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for soul of a wanderer\" width=\"271\" height=\"272\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is a collection of short stories containing the author&#8217;s experiences in various parts of India. This was a really nice and short rainy-day read. The stories were simple and heartwarming and they all taught a valuable lesson. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Rating-<\/strong> 4 stars<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color:#000080;\">3. A Game Of Thrones by George R.R Martin<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.booktopia.com.au\/http_coversbooktopiacomau\/big\/9780006479888\/a-game-of-thrones.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for a game of thrones\" width=\"200\" height=\"307\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To be honest, I&#8217;m not sure how to describe my feelings for this book. I absolutely loved the TV shows and expected the same from the book. However, because I already knew everything that went down in this book, the element of surprise wasn&#8217;t there. I did enjoy reading it and I will probably continue with the series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Rating-<\/strong> 4 stars<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color:#000080;\"><strong>4. Demons In My Mind by Aashish Gupta<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com\/images\/I\/41o-%2BG9I8GL._SX346_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg\" width=\"211\" height=\"305\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A psychological thriller that I absolutely loved. Pralay by Vineet Bajpai<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com\/images\/I\/51NIZWKA8xL._SX321_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg\" alt=\"Related image\" width=\"210\" height=\"324\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This book is the sequel to <a href=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.wordpress.com\/2017\/08\/23\/harappa-curse-of-the-blood-river-by-vineet-bajpai-book-review\/\">Harappa<\/a>, a mythological fantasy series. So check out my full <a href=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.wordpress.com\/2018\/04\/30\/the-aryabhata-clan-by-sudipto-das-book-review\/\">review<\/a> here to know more.<\/p>\n<p>My Rating- 4 stars<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"color:#800000;\"><strong>TV Shows<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wootness.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/04\/glee-11.jpg?w=547\" alt=\"Image result for glee s1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This month has been all about Glee. .I absolutely loved the first three seasons. I really understand what the hype is all about, This show really tried to address some real issues and it did a good job at it. The music is amazing and this show so badly makes me want to sing and dance and watch musicals which I never have. The characters are so cool. I&#8217;m kinda obsessed with Rachel and Klaine and Will.
