My daddy told me he has always lived an honest living
Like his own dad did
In other words, don’t screw someone over.
Karma is debatable but why test it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps this is why I could never understand
How could someone step over the deserving
Or grab their prize
But most of all, rejoice in their pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think of doing the same.
All the glory, none of the labour.
How good it would feel.
A painless trip to the top of the ladder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But something stops me.
The voice of my unborn successor\u2014
If you cheat, who would tell us not to?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
