The author tells us lots of different ways to get work if you’re willing to put in the effort. There were many ways I had never thought of. The book explains proofreading symbols used on hard copies concisely and simply. There is a bonus chapter on electronic editing using Track Changes in MS Word.

I can honestly say that I learned a lot from this book. The section on how to make a resume specifically for proofreading jobs is a very useful part of the book. The book also contains three proofreading tests along with their key that you can use to test your skills.

I am highly impressed at how the author covered many parts of a freelance proofreading career in detail despite the short length of the book. If you are even slightly considering freelancing as a proofreader, this book can be your guide. If you already are a proofreader, you can still pick up this book to get additional tips.

Connect with me on Instagram | Twitter | Goodreads

Continue reading ➞ Paid To Proofread by Suzanne Gilad – Book Review

[3
83,85,99,519,520,517,361,518
post-13086","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-book-reviews","tag-book-recommendations","tag-book-review","tag-books","tag-how-to","tag-make-money-online","tag-non-fiction-books","tag-proofreading","tag-self-help
Hello everyone!
