{"id":7025,"date":"2017-05-07T01:20:51","date_gmt":"2017-05-06T19:50:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.wordpress.com\/?p=7025"},"modified":"2017-05-07T01:20:51","modified_gmt":"2017-05-06T19:50:51","slug":"my-biggest-book-haul-april-2017-l","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.com\/index.php\/2017\/05\/07\/my-biggest-book-haul-april-2017-l\/","title":{"rendered":"My Biggest Book Haul- April 2017\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I said in my <a href=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.wordpress.com\/2017\/04\/02\/first-book-haul-post-january-march-2017\/\">first book haul<\/a> post that I don&#8217;t do monthly book hauls because I don&#8217;t collect a lot of books in a month<\/p>\n<p>That changed last&nbsp;month.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7111 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/img_20170507_010220_494.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20170507_010220_494\" width=\"511\" height=\"355\"><\/p>\n<p>I accumulated&nbsp;a total of <strong>14 books<\/strong> in April. That in itself is more than the books I collected in the whole of 2016. Six of these books I have already talked about in my <a href=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.wordpress.com\/2017\/04\/15\/used-books-haul-indian-books-harry-potter-and-a-re-read-april-2017\/\">used books haul<\/a> post in the middle of April. R. Martin<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7118 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/0502170021d-1.jpg\" alt=\"0502170021d-1\" width=\"265\" height=\"397\"><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been dying to get my hands on this book since I finished the TV show and I finally got it! I have already read about 100 pages and I&#8217;m enjoying it so far. I don&#8217;t know why people say that this book is very dense and has long descriptions. I don&#8217;t feel like it&#8217;s dragging at all and I&#8217;m actually enjoying the pace.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color:#800000;\"><strong>Macbeth by William Shakespeare<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>I bought this book for school. This is the sixth Shakespeare play I own and I still haven&#8217;t finished reading even one. I am about halfway through The Merchant of Venice though and I&#8217;m hoping to finish it soon.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"color:#000080;\"><strong>Books I Received&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color:#800000;\">Deceived by Heena Rathore P.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7120 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/0502170021g-1.jpg\" alt=\"0502170021g-1\" width=\"281\" height=\"490\"><\/p>\n<p>This is an ARC and thanks to the publisher for sending it to me. It is a psychological thriller by a debut author. I have already read this book and I absolutely loved it! My review will be up soon.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color:#800000;\">Rafflesia- The Banished Princess by Gautam<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7114 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/0502170022b-1.jpg\" alt=\"0502170022b-1\" width=\"292\" height=\"492\"><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.writersmelon.com\/wm\/\">Writers Melon<\/a> for sending this book to me to review. It follows the story of Appu who must come out of a fairytale and face the reality. This book sounds very intriguing and I&#8217;m really excited to read it.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color:#800000;\">Men and Dreams in the Dhauladhar by Kochery C. Shibu<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7112 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/0502170022-1.jpg\" alt=\"0502170022-1\" width=\"300\" height=\"521\"><\/p>\n<p>I won this book in a giveaway hosted by the amazing blog <a href=\"http:\/\/www.haloofbooks.com\/\">Halo of Books<\/a>&nbsp;and it was sent to me by the author. A huge thanks&nbsp;to both of them! This book takes place in the Himalayas and follows the story of three men as they work on a hydel project.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color:#800000;\"><strong>Dangerous Games by Danielle Steele<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7117 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/0502170021c-1.jpg\" alt=\"0502170021c-1\" width=\"297\" height=\"477\"><\/p>\n<p>This is the latest book of Danielle Steele. Thanks to Pan Macmillan India for sending it me as part of an Instagram giveaway. This is going to be my first read by this author and I&#8217;m really excited for it!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The next two books were sent to me by Hindustan Brunch as a gift for my continued participation in the #BrunchBookChallenge. A huge thanks to them! I had no idea what they were going to send so this was a wonderful surprise \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color:#800000;\">The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7116 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/0502170023a-1.jpg\" alt=\"0502170023a-1\" width=\"295\" height=\"497\"><\/p>\n<p>I was actually thinking of getting this book and I was so glad when I received it. It would be really interesting to read something completely different by this author.
