That is mainly because I have enjoyed almost every classic I have read so far. I love the long stories, the complex plots and the beautiful writing. However, I cant deny the fact that classics take much more time and effort to read than other books. Because of\u00a0this, I always lag behind on reading them.<\/p>\n<p>Today I want to share with you all some classic books that are sitting on my shelf unread.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>Dracula by Bram Stoker<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-7543 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/lrm_export_20170525_175406.jpg\" alt=\"LRM_EXPORT_20170525_175406\" width=\"264\" height=\"357\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This beautiful Scholastic edition of Dracula does not deserve to stay unread on my shelf. \u00a0It is a Gothic horror novel and was published in 1897. I don&#8217;t read horror books often but I enjoy them whenever I do read them. More reason for me to pick it up soon.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#333399;\">Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-7547 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/lrm_export_20170525_180428.jpg\" alt=\"LRM_EXPORT_20170525_180428\" width=\"256\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My second Jane Austen book. It took me a long time to read Pride and Prejudice and because of that, I am not in a hurry to pick this up. It follows the story of teenager\u00a0Holden Caulfield. Its been a while since I read a coming-of-age story so I am more likely to read this book sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>Untouchable by Mulk Raj Anand<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-7539 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/lrm_export_20170525_174949.jpg\" alt=\"LRM_EXPORT_20170525_174949\" width=\"265\" height=\"363\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I read this author&#8217;s other book <em>Coolie<\/em> ages ago but I remember really liking it. Untouchable seems like a very enlightening and good read. It is also quite short so I&#8217;m likely to pick it up soon.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>The Ramayana by R.K Narayan<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-7549 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/lrm_export_20170525_180700.jpg\" alt=\"LRM_EXPORT_20170525_180700\" width=\"266\" height=\"368\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The great Indian epic retold by R.K Narayana. I have read 4 out of 9 books in the Sherlock Holmes series. I&#8217;m huge fan of the detective and his partner and I really want to finish this series soon.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>Five plays by Shakespeare<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-7540 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/travellingthroughwords.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/05\/lrm_export_20170525_175127.jpg\" alt=\"LRM_EXPORT_20170525_175127\" width=\"320\" height=\"243\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These are Julius Caesar, Comedy of Errors, Two Gentlemen of Verona, A Midsummer Night&#8217;s Dream and Macbeth. It is taking me ages to read The Merchant of Venice so I don&#8217;t know how long it will take me to read all of these. Still, I&#8217;m hoping to slowly make my way through these.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color:#800000;\">Some re-reads<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I have already read these but due to one reason or the other I want to read them again. So basically, I skimmed through a lot of it and read it really fast. I read it years ago and fell in love with it instantly. I think I read this book about 4 years ago. Since then I haven&#8217;t completely read it again nor have I watched any\u00a0adaptations of it.
