My Thoughts
Tattooed Music is the second installment in the Mystery Crackers series and follows fourteen-year-old twins- Prash and Nish as they try to solve another mystery in the town of Jhiljhila. The mystery starts with the appearance of a pirate ship and a mysterious silk handkerchief.
The author weaves a very imaginative and adventurous tale. I was very engrossed in the mystery throughout the book. The story was constructed in such a way that it did not feel rushed despite the short length.
The writing felt even more beautiful than the first book. I love the fact that the author doesn’t make the writing very simple just because its a book for a younger audience. I also love the cover of this book!
This series really makes me want to read more children’s books! The Mystery Crackers provide a light-hearted treat that I think all readers could benefit from.
My review of the first book- A Chest’s Tale
I’m so glad that you found such an enjoyable read.
Thank you 🙂
