Hey everyone! You may or may not have noticed that I posted less times this month than usual. Those of you who have read my post Stressed by reading and blogging (Sharing my thoughts) will know that I needed a break. I considered this month as a little break from blogging. I wrote a couple of posts in the beginning of the month and scheduled them to be posted throughout July. I wish I could say that my break is over but it isn’t. The reasons- I really really need to study, managing studying, reading and blogging is becoming way too stressful, I’m not feeling the best these days, I’m trying to be strong and positive but its hard, my laptop just broke down so its going to be very hard to post.
This update is just to give you all a heads up that there might be lesser posts this month. I will still be reading so I’ll be posting reviews. I hope this blog still gets love even if I’m not very active.
Now onto my wrap-up for July.
July was a good reading month for me. I read 5 books and four of them were review copies.
Books I Read
1. The Merchant Of Venice by William Shakespeare
3 stars
The first play by Shakespeare I finished reading.
It took me a year and a half to read this play. I just couldn’t deal with the language. The plot wasn’t very amazing for me. I guess Shakespeare is just not for me at the moment. I’d rather try to read his sonnets than his plays for now.
2. Career Rules by by Sonya Dutta Choudhury
5 stars
This book was amazing! It is very cleverly written and has information of all major careers. It also gave some great tips on how to choose the path for you. I recommend this to everyone.
3. Esper Files: The Sky Cult (Esper Files #2) by Egan Brass
4.5 stars
4. Against All Odds by Danielle Steel
3.5 stars
5. Messed Up! But All for Love by Arvind Parashar
3 stars
Tv Shows Watched
I finished re-watching Friends so I moved on to re-watching How I Met Your Mother. Despite all their faults, I truly ship Barney and Robin together. They belong together. Not Ted and Robin. I never shipped them and I really don’t think they fit together.
I haven’t watched the last 2-3 episodes of Shadowhunters. I’m really losing interest in it but I do miss Malec.
And ofcourse, Game of Thrones Season 7 started. I’ve only watched the first two episodes so far and I’m quite satisfied with how it is going.
Songs I Listened To On Repeat
Perfect by Ed Sheeran
Photograph by Ed Sheeran
War of Hearts by Ruelle

Which books did you read this month? Which was your favorite?
Let me know down below!
Shakespeare is one of those things I think I “should” like more than I actually do. It takes a long time, and usually ends in sparknotes to finish one of his plays. 😀 I’m loving Season 7 too. Except Jamie, seriously guy, just get away from Cersei already!!!
I feel the same way about Shakespeare. If it weren’t for SparkNotes, I wouldn’t have finished this play 😁 Ikr? I feel so bad for Jamie and I can’t understand why he would still love her.
