I put my dreams on hold.
I tie my shoelaces and straighten my shirt.
To deal with my reality.
The small and exhausting tasks of my existence.
They give me nothing.
Yet, they are necessary.
I put my dreams on hold.
I just hope while I’m living my life.
They don’t fly away.
