I said in my first book haul post that I don’t do monthly book hauls because I don’t collect a lot of books in a month
That changed last month.
I accumulated a total of 14 books in April. That in itself is more than the books I collected in the whole of 2016. Six of these books I have already talked about in my used books haul post in the middle of April. I’m going to tell you a little bit about the rest of them.
My Used Books Haul
- The Company of Women by Khushwant Singh
- The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy
- Sea of Poppies (Ibis Trilogy #1) by Amitav Ghosh
- And The Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K Rowling
Other Books I Bought
A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin
I’ve been dying to get my hands on this book since I finished the TV show and I finally got it! I have already read about 100 pages and I’m enjoying it so far. I don’t know why people say that this book is very dense and has long descriptions. I don’t feel like it’s dragging at all and I’m actually enjoying the pace.
Macbeth by William Shakespeare
I bought this book for school. This is the sixth Shakespeare play I own and I still haven’t finished reading even one. I am about halfway through The Merchant of Venice though and I’m hoping to finish it soon.

The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer
I was actually thinking of getting this book and I was so glad when I received it. It would be really interesting to read something completely different by this author. This book is a mystery thriller and I’m really looking forward to reading it.
