Book Haul- May 2017

Hey everyone! I acquired 9 books this month and I’m excited to tell you all about them 😀

The THC: Under a Gibbous Moon by Manoj V Jain

I won this book in a giveaway held by Book Geeks India. It follows the lives of three people who are dealing with psychological problems. This book sounds very interesting and has been getting great reviews. I’m really looking forward to reading it.

Sick Of Being Healthy by Monisha K. Gumber

This book was sent to me for review. It is an illustrated book and follows the story of Tara as she deals with the problems that come from being a teenager. I have already read it and I’ll do a review of it soon.

Quarter Life Crisis by Anshuk Attri

This book was sent to me by The Readers Cosmos for review. It is the story of Prachur, an engineering student hailing from Shimla whose life is turned upside down when his girlfriend gets pregnant. I have already read it and reviewed it here.

The Rulebreakers’ Club: The Ghost Who Wasn’t There by Sowmya Rajendran

I won this book in a Twitter contest held by Crossword Bookstore and it was sent to me by Penguin India. This is a short children’s book. It follows a group of kids who are trying to get rid of their annoying dog and get caught up in a bank robbery.

Untouchable by Mulk Raj Anand

I got this book from an Instagram giveaway. I have previously read Coolie by this author and I really like it. I’m hoping to read this book soon.

The Rise of Sivagami (Baahubali: Before the Beginning, Book 1) by Anand Neelakantan

I won this book along with Untouchable and I couldn’t be more happier!  haven’t watched the movie Bahubali but i’m still really excited to read this book as I haven’t read many Indian fantasy books.

The Woman Behind the Waterfall by Leonora Meriel

I won this book in a giveaway held by the amazing Celebrity Reads. A huge thanks to her and the author for sending me this beautiful hardcover. Hopefully, I’ll get to this book soon.

The First Word by Husain Ali

Another giveaway win, this is a ;poetry collection. I’ve been meaning to read a collection of poems for a long time now so I was very glad when I got this.

The Tree With A Thousand Apples by Sanchit Gupta

This book was sent to me for review by Writersmelon. The plot revolves around the state of Kashmir and I have really high expectations from this book. I’ll be reading and reviewing it very soon.
