Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish. This week’s topic is Ten Books I Picked Up On A Whim.
This week’s topic is “Top Ten Things Books Have Made Me Want To Do or Learn About After Reading Them”. A very interesting topic that actually required a lot of thought at first. My list doesn’t consist of what a particular book made me want to do but books in general. Anyways, hope you like it!
Books made me want to write.
Books made me interested in Greek mythology.
Books made me want to annotate them, including highlighting my favorite lines.
Books made me a fan of quotes.
Books made me interested in making my own bookmarks.
Books made me want to make lots of lists.
Books got me to keep a journal.
Books made me watch more movies, especially book-to-movie adaptations.
Books taught me a lot about people and made me want to learn more about them.
Books make me want to live my life more fully.
Let me know your thought down below. Also, leave a link to your post and I’d be happy to check it out 🙂
I’ve always tried to keep a journal. I always end up trying or starting it out, then I’ll just get bored and too lazy to keep on filling it up! LOL. I did recently set up a bullet journal, so far I’m being responsible using it, hope I keep it up. 🙂
Cool! I know journaling takes a bit of dedication but eventually it becomes really useful and satisfying. Good luck on yours!
Thanks so much! I do hope I get to continue it. 🙂
I love annotating, highlighting, or tagging in my books!
Glad to know I’m not the only one 😀
Writing is a good one. It makes me want to write my own stories all the time. And hey, books have inspired all these blogs to be written. 😀
Yes, that’s the best thing!
I had. A journal for a while when I was twelve but my whole family read it (the day I was mad at them) didn’t end well
Hi! I had a diary when i was a kid too and was always afraid that someone would read it!
Books absolutely have made me want to write as well! Reading some amazing books have made me strive to become like my favourite authors and improve my writing style. Great list!
