Hi everyone! How are you all doing?
Its September and there are only 3 and half months left before this year ends. I made a list in February called My To-Be-Read Books. It was basically a list of books I wanted to read this year. As the months passed, I read some of them and decided to not read some of them. So in conclusion, I have 7 books at the moment that I want to read before this year ends. Most of the books on this list are quite long but I’m determined to finish all of them. So let’s get started-
1. Dreamcatcher by Stephen King
Yesterday, I picked this book up just to look at it (You know you do that too). I thought this was one of the shortest books on my tbr but then I checked and realized its almost 600 pages long. Anyways, I do need some motivation to read this book so if any of you have read it, let me know.
2. Rose Madder by Stephen King
I read the first part of this book a long time ago but then stopped for no apparent reason. I do remember the writing being very gripping. I’ll have to start this book again but i’m excited to read it.
3. Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K Jerome
I really don’t have any interest to read this book at the moment. I just hope its funny and quick enough to hold my attention.
4. Dracula by Bram Stroker
This beautiful edition deserves to be read. I did try reading it once and I only got into 2-3 pages and I remember not being a fan of the writing. Still, i do hope to read it soon.
5. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
I’ve already started this book and I’m loving it so far. I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy this book even more this time. The writing is so engaging and the dark atmosphere of this novel is amazing. Hopefully, I’ll finish it this month only.
6. The Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simmons
I’m about 170 pages into this book at the moment and I’m not sure how I feel. The forbidden love thing that Tatiana and Alexander have going on because on her sister is kinda annoying.
7. Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
I’m about a 100 pages into this book and I’m loving it so far. I’m actually listening it as an audiobook since reading a 800 page book seems impossible. I just hope I can finish it by December.
I’m going to try to make a schedule to finish these books though I don’t know if that will even work. Wish me luck guys.
Which books are on your end of year tbr? Let me know down below!
