Hello readers! I present to you some more of my favorite quotes 😀

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth Harry Potter book. I think we can all agree that it is one of the saddest books in the series. Still, its one of my favorites and has some amazing quotes.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

“Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn’t mean we all have.”

“Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike.”

“Is it true that you shouted at Professor Umbridge?”
“Yes.”
“You called her a liar?”
“Yes.”
“You told her He Who Must Not Be Named is back?”
“Yes.”
“Have a biscuit, Potter.”

“You’re a prefect? Oh Ronnie! That’s everyone in the family!”
“What are Fred and I? Next door neighbors?”

“You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it.”

“You know, Minister, I disagree with Dumbledore on many counts…but you cannot deny he’s got style”

“Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect.”

“Give her hell from us, Peeves.”

“According to Madam Pomfrey, thoughts could leave deeper scars than almost anything else.”

“The mind is not a book, to be opened at will and examined at leisure. Thoughts are not etched on the inside of skulls, to be perused by an invader. The mind is a complex and many-layered thing.”

“We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.”

“I know Umbridge by reputation and I’m sure she’s no Death Eater-“
“She’s foul enough to be one…”
“Yes, but the world isn’t split into good people and Death Eaters.”

“Harry witnessed Professor McGonagall walking right past Peeves who was determinedly loosening a crystal chandelier and could have sworn he heard her tell the poltergeist out of the corner of her mouth, ‘It unscrews the other way.”

“Anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.”

“If she could have done one thing to make absolutely sure that every single person in this school will read your interview, it was banning it!”

“Harry, I’ve left a letter telling your aunt and uncle not to worry–”
“They won’t,” said Harry.
“That you’re safe–”
“That’ll just depress them.”
“–and you’ll see them next summer.”
“Do I have to?”

“The fact that you can feel pain like this is your greatest strength”

“You see, I, unlike you, have been made a prefect, which means that I, unlike you, have the power to hand out punishments.”
“Yeah,” said Harry, “but you, unlike me, are a git.”

“Don’t worry. You’re just as sane as I am
-Luna Lovegood”

“It’s best to know what the enemy are saying.”

“The presence of hundreds of books had finally convinced Hermione that what they were doing was right.”

“Well, that was a bit stupid of you,” said Ginny angrily, “seeing as you don’t know anyone but me who’s been possessed by You-Know-Who, and I can tell you how it feels.”
Harry remained quite still as the impact of these words hit him. Then he turned on the spot to face her.
“I forgot,” he said.
“Lucky you,” said Ginny coolly.
“I’m sorry,” Harry said, and he meant it.”

“Okay, write that down,” Hermoine said to Ron, pushing his essay and a sheet covered in her own writing back to Ron, “and then copy out this conclusion that I’ve written for you.”
“Hermoine, you are honestly the most wonderful person I’ve ever met,” said Ron weakly, “and if I’m ever rude to you again –“
“– I’ll know you’re back to normal,” said Hermoine.”

“Indeed, your failure to understand that there are things much worse than death has always been your greatest weakness.”

Weasley is our king,
Weasley is our king,
He didn’t let the quaffle in,
Weasley is our king.
Weasley can save anything,
He never leaves a single ring,
That’s why Griffindors all sing,
Weasley is our king!

  1. Love lots of them, but my favorite is definitely this one-
