August 2017 Book Haul

In terms of books acquired, this month was a good one. Click on the names of the books to go to their Goodreads page. Let’s get started-

I bought 3 books this month from Amazon.

Lord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices, #2)     The Dark Prophecy (The Trials of Apollo, #2)     The Four Patriots

I’ve been dying to get my hands on Lord of Shadows and The Dark prophecy ever since they came out and the prices finally lowered enough for me to buy them. The Four Patriots has been on my wishlist for months. I’ve seen a lot of people giving it great reviews so I’m very excited to read it.

Now I have 3 unread Rick Riordon books and I’m just waiting for the perfect opportunity to binge-read them.

HARAPPA: Curse of the Blood River       10 Essentials to The Blueprint of Happiness

I received 2 books for review this month. Harrapa was sent to me by The Readers Cosmos and 10 Essentials To The Blueprint of Happiness was sent to me by Writermelon.

I’ve already posted the review of book of these:

Harappa – Curse of the Blood River by Vineet Bajpai (Book Review)

10 Essentials to The Blueprint of Happiness by Bhanu Arora (Book Review)

Unbreakable: an Autobiography

I won Unbreakable in a giveaway hosted by Bookish Santa so a huge thanks to them for sending it to me! They are a company that sell second-hand books online. They ship all over India so if you are an Indian resident, you should definitely check them out. I’m really excited to read Mary Kom’s Autobiography. Let me know if any of you have read it!

The Bone Clocks

I won The Bone Clocks in an Instagram giveaway. The plot of this book sounds absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to read it.

A Thousand Pieces of You (Firebird, #1)

I won A Thousand Pieces Of You in a giveaway by Feathery Neon Crate. Huge thanks to them for sending it to me.

That’s it guys! What are you all reading? Which of these books should I read first? Let me know down below.

  1. THREE Rick Riordan books? You better read em. I can proudly say that I’ve read every mythology-related book by Rick Riordan(and he never disappoints).

How did you like the trials of apollo? I bought it within a week or two of it’s coming on Amazon. I can’t wait for the third book of the apollo series and the norse series.

Btw where are all these giveaways held?

    1. I hate to admit I haven’t read trials of Apollo yet or hammer of Thor. Hopefully I can read all these before the new book comes out In October.
These giveaways are held on Instagram. Most of them are for bookstagrammers only. But there are in which private accouns can participate. Giveaways are also held on Goodreads. You can try that.

      1. Ah, ok. Thanks for letting me know.

Oh sweet, it’s coming out in October? I’ll be able to get it for my birthday then! 😀
You should really read it though- they’re very interesting(if you can’t afford it then you can read it online for free)
