Down The TBR Hole #3| Sorting Through Goodreads TBR Shelf

I may be a little bit of Monica. Cleaning and de-cluttering is just fun, okay?

Down The TBR Hole was created by Lost in a Story!

The Rules:

  • Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

Down The TBR Hole | Sorting Through Goodreads TBR Shelf

Hello everyone. How are you all?

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of people do the ‘Down The TBR Hole’ posts and I decided to give it a try as well. This meme seems really fun and a great way to reduce your TBR and since my Goodreads TBR shelf has about 1,900 books, I think this is a good decision. I’m not sure yet if I’ll do more of these posts but let’s just see how it goes.

My Classics TBR

A major part of the books I own are classics, and a huge portion of that part is unread.

I say that classical literature is one my favorite genres. That is mainly because I have enjoyed almost every classic I have read so far. I love the long stories, the complex plots and the beautiful writing. However, I cant deny the fact that classics take much more time and effort to read than other books. Because of this, I always lag behind on reading them.

Today I want to share with you all some classic books that are sitting on my shelf unread.

Hi everyone! How are you all? My exams just got over and I’m soo relieved. I’ve got a one month break before my last year of high school starts and I am planning to read and write a lot in this month. These are the books I’m planning to read in the remaining days of March and in April. Its quite a long list but I really need to get to these books soon.

My Reading More Diversely Jar / My Ultimate TBR Jar

For the last couple of  years it has been quite a trend to make TBR (to-be-read) lists and jars in the book community. I had a list for 2015 and was successful in completing most of them. However, this year i didn’t want to put pressure on myself and just wanted to take my time with the books i read. I wanted to discover stories that stayed with me and made me glad that i read them. But underneathall that there was still this huge list of books that i had always wanted to read. There were series i wanted to start and series i needed to complete. There were genres that i had not read anything from and wanted to try them.

So from all this came my ultimate tbr jar.
