Stacking the Shelves #1 || November 2017 Book Haul

Hi everyone!

So my friend Mridula recently did this meme and I decided to get inspired by her (she’s pretty inspiring :D) and do this as well. I also wanted to show the books I got in November and what better way than by doing this?

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga Reviews. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course Ebooks! If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

Down The TBR Hole | Sorting Through Goodreads TBR Shelf

Hello everyone. How are you all?

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of people do the ‘Down The TBR Hole’ posts and I decided to give it a try as well. This meme seems really fun and a great way to reduce your TBR and since my Goodreads TBR shelf has about 1,900 books, I think this is a good decision. I’m not sure yet if I’ll do more of these posts but let’s just see how it goes.

Bookish Discovery This Week #2

Bookish Discovery This Week is a weekly meme hosted by me and Mridula from Ecstatic Yet Chaotic. For more details, check out my introductory post here and my last bookisdiscovery post here.

Hi everyone! Hope your week went well 🙂

So three things happened this week.

Bookish Discovery This Week (Introducing A New Meme)

Hey everyone! My amazing friend Mridula from Ecstatic yet Chaotic came with a great idea for a book meme. We put out heads together and this is what we created:

Name of the meme: Bookish Discovery of this Week

Hosted by: Ecstatic yet Chaotic and Travelling Through Words

Description:

Every Thursday, we talk about something new that we discovered which is book related. It can be something that is recently created or discovered or it can be something old that you just discovered or you are interested in. It can be a book you just read or added to your tbr. It can also be an author, genre, poem, story, word, character, a new trend etc. Basically anything that is related to books. You can also share some news or talk about something that caught your eye.

Authors I Want To Read More From

Hey everyone! This is a list of authors whose one or two books I have already read and I want to read more books by them in the future. I have quite a lot of authors for this list so I will be doing it in two parts. I’ll post the second part of this post soon.

Quotes of the Week #7: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Hello readers! I present to you some more of my favorite quotes 😀

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth Harry Potter book. I think we can all agree that it is one of the saddest books in the series. Still, its one of my favorites and has some amazing quotes.

The Bookish Time Travel Tag

Hello everyone! This tag was created by The Library Lizard. I thank her for tagging me and making me a part of this 🙂 You can check out her post here.

The Bookish Time Travel Tag contains a bunch of questions centered around time travel and books. So lets get straight to the questions!

Top 5 Wednesday #5: Unlikable Characters

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey from Ginger Reads Lainey and is now hosted by Samantha from Thoughts on Tomes. You can also check out the Goodreads group.

Hey guys! I know I’m very late in uploading this post but my laptop isn’t working and i didn’t want to leave this topic as I had written it beforehand.

So the topic was “Most Unlikable Characters” (These should lean more towards characters who aren’t intentionally unlikable. Not villains, or mean girl/guys, etc.)

Top 10 Tuesday #5: Top Ten Things Books Have Made Me Want To Do

Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish. This week’s topic is Ten Books I Picked Up On A Whim.

This week’s topic is “Top Ten Things Books Have Made Me Want To Do or Learn About After Reading Them”. A very interesting topic that actually required a lot of thought at first. My list doesn’t consist of what a particular book made me want to do but books in general. Anyways, hope you like it!

Top 5 Wednesday #4: Most Recent Additions To My Wishlist

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey from Ginger Reads Lainey and is now hosted by Samantha from Thoughts on Tomes. You can also check out the Goodreads group.

This weeks topic is “Most Recent Additions to Your Wishlist” or “Books you are dying to get your hands on for your collection”. So here are my picks:

Top 5 Wednesday #3: Books I Wish Had Sequels

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey from Ginger Reads Lainey and is now hosted by Samantha from Thoughts on Tomes. You can also check out the Goodreads group.

Here are 5 Books I Wish Had Sequels.

Book Beginnings and The Friday 56 #3: Egg and Spoon By Gregory Mcguire

Hi! This is my third post of these  wonderful memes. The book I’ll be be writing about today is Egg and Spoon by Gregory Mcguire. Its a historical fiction, fantasy book that I recently found. I’m currently listening to the audiobook version of this book and really enjoying it. It is very well done and the narration is quite good.

Quotes of the Week #4: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K Rowling

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter, #2)

Hello readers! Sorry I haven’t posted any quotes in the last few weeks but I’ll try my best to be consistent now.

Here are my favorite quotes from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets:

Friday Book Beginnings: The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury

Book Beginnings is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Rose City Reader. To participate, you have to post the first sentence of the book you are reading and write your thoughts about it.

I just found this weekly meme and it seems pretty fun. I’ll be participating in this as much as i can in the upcoming weeks.
