End of The Year To-Be-Read Books & Update

Hello fellow bloggers

How are you all?

So I have posted twice in the last two months. It was mainly because I had exams in September and then my laptop stopped working. Its still not repaired and I am currently writing from a borrowed one. Nevertheless, I’m ready to get back into blogging. I’m still trying to figure out how to balance writing, reading, school and studies but I’m gonna try my best.

I’m currently re-reading A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I’m also listening to Egg and Spoon by Gregory Maguire. I have about 3 hours left of it and I am so ready to finish it.

Also, the realization that there are only 2 months left of this year and our TBRs still haven’t shrunken have made us all make an End Of The Year TBR. Here’s mine:

So the topic was “Most Unlikable Characters” (These should lean more towards characters who aren’t intentionally unlikable. Not villains, or mean girl/guys, etc.)

Review: The Portrait of a Lady by Khushwant Singh

The Portrait of a Lady

Add on Goodreads

Khushwant Singh is one of the most acclaimed writers of Indian literature. I have been meaning to read his works for a while and finally got the opportunity when I had to read his short story, The Portrait of a Lady for school. It is actually part of a collection of stories by the same name. However, I only read this story and I’m going to talk about it only.
